ClickDimensions users may have noticed a pop up warning over the past few days:
This ominous message is a warning that has effects for not just ClickDimensions, but any applications that integrate with Dynamics 365 using a combination user id and password. Clicking the link takes you to a further explanation of the dialog box. Microsoft is starting to phase out the ability of add on applications to use this traditional authentication method in favor of either using Service Principal Authentication or an Application User. We have been migrating our ClickDimensions users to Application Users in order to avoid any service interruption.
Changing to an Application User will also help deal with upcoming daily API Limits that will be activated very soon.
Luckily this is not a difficult change to make. You will need to work with a Global Administrator of your Azure Active DIrectory.
