If you can’t get the reader past the title, you have no chance to capture them as a client. You need to get them hooked right off the bat, then reel them in and have them wanting more! Make your content brief and hit the majority of the key points, but do not give away the farm. If they like what they see, they will reach out to you and want to know more.

Third, don’t give up. Research shows that the vast majority of unsolicited email don’t get recognition, but the rule of thumb is persistence giving you a much higher chance than nothing at all.

Never, never make your email more than 700 words. Readers will gaze out of focus unless they are true captivated by the text and don’t, don’t go image crazy. New clients are like babies, too many images is over stimulation and it just makes them cranky.
