This is part 2 of a multipart series on the best new features of Dynamics 365, announced last week at CRM UG Summit in Tampa. For the past year or so Dynamics CRM data has been available in Power BI through content packs for Sales and Customer Service data. These content packs were great for a start

With Dynamics 365, those interactive data visualizations have been moved into the Dynamics Core. Dashboards, Tiles, and reports will be available as part of Dynamics 365 Dashboards, Grids, and Forms.

The current dashboard chart types of Pie Charts, Bar Charts, Pipeline Charts will be enhanced with the stunning visualizations available to Power BI users including:

The PowerBI site has more details on best practices for each of these visualization types.The ability to add these to CRM Dashboards with the CRM Application gives managers, analysts, and users the ability to work with data in new and exciting ways.

Dynamics CRM Dashboards with Power BI prove the adage that a picture is worth a thousand words. Take some time to review the possibilities.
